All Levels Physical Education, K-12:
Through all-levels certification, you can pursue a teaching career instilling a passion for art, theatre, music or Spanish in your students. You will certify to teach age 3 through grade 12, which will prepare for you multiple teaching possibilities after graduation. These areas of certification combine courses specific to each discipline with the required professional education curriculum for teacher certification.
Earning your degree in early childhood and elementary education will prepare you to teach children in preschool through sixth grade. You will study a broad range of subjects, from reading and science to music and math. Discover how to manage a classroom, build positive relationships with children, and help them develop interpersonal skills. Before you even begin student teaching, you will have more than 200 hours of experience in classrooms.
Secondary Health Education, 6-12:
The ACU middle school education degrees provide strong and deep understanding of the teaching field, best practices of instruction, and critical knowledge of the particular emotional and social needs of middle school students. Your professional preparation program will provide multiple opportunities to participate in classrooms prior to your student teaching semester. You will be prepared to live out your calling, as you impact children from the first day in your own classroom.
